Easyquote

Developed by a team of professionals from the KBB and IT industry, easyquote was the first dedicated business management software solution for the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom market. Andy Peters, Sales and Marketing Director and Leigh Martin, Managing Director (who developed the easyquote programme), took over its management in 2005.  Since that time Leigh and his team have continued to address the requirements of the ever changing KBB industry by providing an immense choice of electronic pricing data which ensures accurate pricing, quotations, and purchase orders combined with a fully comprehensive project management system.

During the eight years in which easyquote has operated in this market it has become the UK’s largest Business Management Software provider, now with 1 in 5 retailers using easyquote software, and is the only company with the capacity to handle 3,400 catalogues containing over 14 million products. Catalogues are updated on a daily basis by a fourteen strong team.  With three in-house developers and a nine strong sales team, easyquote now employs over thirty people and its software can be found in many of the UK’s largest retail, manufacturing and contract companies.

Sales and Marketing Director Andy Peters has over thirty years in the industry having previously owned a kitchen retail and manufacturing business specialising in the inframe bespoke end of the market. He then moved on to work in the UK and USA as a corporate Sales Director for Articad.  “Leigh’s vast experience in having written many software manufacturing applications, combined with my experience in both retail and manufacturing enabled the continued development of easyquote. As a kitchen retailer and manufacturer I have experience of the time consuming and costly procedures faced by our clients on a day to day basis, and because of this I believe my knowledge and experience combined with Leigh’s unquestionable expertise has made easyquote one of the most user friendly and versatile systems on the market.”  Andy spends most of his time out on the road visiting customers and maintaining a ‘hands on’ approach with his client base.  Andy continues “I feel it is really important to keep my face out there, it is beneficial to the business and to our clients.  It is good to talk, to hear what is happening and react according.  At the moment we are offering fantastic deals for new users and an impressive upgrade rate for companies that wish to upgrade from other systems; this is even more important in such financially turbulent times.  A real selling point for our company is that we do not hide behind hidden costs.  We do not add fees for essential items or training, we are completely transparent, there are no surprises just a brilliant system combined with an equally great support team. Such transparency puts easyquote in a strong position and is a key reason why it has become the choice of so many of the UK’s leading kitchen, bathroom and bedroom companies.”

After almost thirty years in the industry Andy is still as enthusiastic and excited about his work as ever; “I love doing what I do, it really is a great area to work in. I look forward to exhibitions such as KBB Birmingham and the new KBB London as it allows me time to meet up with old faces and to introduce easyquote to new ones.  Our business is about networking, and I have made some great friends that I have maintained throughout the years, many whom have become clients.”
